We will assist you with the entire relocation process, prepare all the documents you need and book your appointments. Here's what we can help you with:

• Appointment booking and assistance with applying for the EU Blue Card, IT specialist visa or qualified workers visa

• Assistance with residence permit application, renewal or change

• Assistance with visa application for accompanying family members

• All necessary to-dos before and after moving to Germany for work purposes (e.g. assistance with registration for health insurance, opening of bank account, application for tax id, city registration)

Please note that we do not offer relocation services for jobseekers, self-employed persons or students.

How to book your relocation service

Have you received a job offer by an employer in Germany? Then it’s time to take the first step of your relocation journey with HalloGermany and book our relocation call. The pre-check allows us to determine if and how we can support you with your relocation to Germany and make sure that your application has a high chance of success. The pre-check includes a 30-minute zoom call where we answer any questions you may have and discuss your relocation needs. We will then provide you with a customized offer for a visa or relocation service that fits your requirements.

What we require for our first relocation call:

• Information on your job offer in Germany: The name of the company, your planned job title, salary level and target destination in Germany

• If you hold an academic degree: The name of your university and full name of the degree you hold

• Your CV and current visa or residence permit in case you have one

• If you have family members who are relocating with you, please also let us know in the booking form

Does HalloGermany also provide advice on immigration Laws in Germany?

HalloGermany does not provide any kind of legal consultation. If you need legal advice in the context of your relocation to Germany, we recommend you to contact a lawyer specialized in immigration law.

What does HalloGermany require from my side during the relocation process?

The first step towards booking a relocation service with us is a job offer by an employer in Germany and a completed relocation call. You can book it here. For the pre-check we need information about your job offer, your current place of residence and your qualifications. If the pre-check turns out to be positive, we’ll send you a personalized offer for a relocation service and detailed instructions about the documents required to file your application.

What does Hallo Germany require from my employer during the relocation process? 

Once you have confirmed the booking of our relocation service, you and your employer will receive an email notification with an invitation to the relocation software of our partner agency. Your employer will then be asked to sign in and fill in the information on the company profile page and upload your employment contract and the job description of the position you are filling. Apart from that, we require your employer to sign a power of attorney in order to file the bureaucratic paperwork for you. These are the only documents we need from your employer, nothing else to worry about. Your employer will also be able to see important dates, case related documents and any updates on your relocation process.

My employer is unable to issue a Power of Attorney. Can I still book a relocation package?

Unfortunately we cannot provide this service without a Power of Attorney. However, we are happy to guide you through the visa application process and answer your questions in our relocation call. Contact us for a package offer to book several hours of support at a discounted price!

How's the payment made?

You will receive an invoice two weeks after the commencement of your case and will have an additional two weeks to settle the payment via bank transfer.

What happens if I book a relocation service and my visa or residence permit application is rejected by the German authorities?

If that happens we will initiate a remonstration procedure. If this is also unsuccessful, we refund 75% of the price. This luckily only happens in 1 % of our relocation cases. 

I do not have a job offer in Germany. Can HalloGermany still help me get a visa?

Unfortunately, we do not provide assistance with the application for other visa types such as the job seeker visa, the student visa or the freelancer visa.

Can you also help with family reunion?

If you are relocating with your spouse, we would be glad to assist you in applying for family reunification visa as well. This service can only be booked in combination with one of the above relocation packages for an additional fee of €476.
